COCHIN, on your arrival at the Cochin Railway Station our representative will receive you and take to the hotel. Spend the afternoon with local sightseeing in and around Cochin - the "Queen of Arabian Sea", this is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay is arranged in Cochin.
COCHIN-WAYANAD, After breakfast check out from the hotel and Transfer to Wayanad. Rich in wildlife, Wayanad's mountainous terrain houses the best in wildlife and spreads the aroma of coffee, cardamom and vanilla. Situated in the southern region of the Deccan plateau bordering Karnataka state, mercury dips to cooler Celsius. Untouched by rail or air traffic the only way you can inhale Wayanad's freshness is by road, on arrival check into Hotel and relax for the rest of the day. WAYANAD, after breakfast , proceed to visit Edakkal caves. An interesting trek up the Ambukuthi Hill near Ambalavayal town takes you to the fascinating Neolithic cave site of Edakkal. Etchings found on the walls of these caves have drawn the serious attention of archaeologists and historians worldwide. Afternoon visit Soochippara waterfalls. Evening back to hotel. WAYANAD, after breakfast , After freshen up visit Muthanga wild Life sanctuary. it is a rain forest reserve connected to two other major sanctuaries: Bandipur National Park in Karnataka and Mudumalai Sanctuary in Tamil Nadu. After noon visit Kuruva island, The Kuruva Island with 950 acres of evergreen forest lies on one of the tributaries of the Kabini. The island is home to various species of rare birds, orchids and herbs. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
WAYANAD-ATHIRAPALLY, after breakfast checkout from the hotel and transfer to Athirampally, check in to the hotel, later proceed for sight seeing enjoy the waterfalls and over night stay at hotel.
ATHIRAMPALLY-ALLEPPEY, after breakfast checkout from the Hotel & drive to Alleppey, set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check-in to the House Boat. Later proceeds for a Cruise through the Back waters. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Lunch, Dinner and overnight stay in the House boat.
ALLEPPEY-KANYAKUMARI, after breakfast checkout from the houseboat and proceed to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is located at the southernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent at the confluence of three major water bodies videlicet the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean. A small temple dedicated to goddess Kanyakumari - the youthful form of the primeval energy Shakti (Mother Goddess), is located on the seashore. Swami Vivekananda, the great visionary and spiritual leader, spent days in deep meditation on a rock around 400 m off the Kanyakumari coastline. There is a memorial built on the stone in honor of Swami Vivekananda and adjacent to it stands the 133 ft high statue of Tiruvalluvar, the author of the philosophical work Tirukkural. Visit the Padmanbhapuram Palace, Suchithram Temple, Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Memorial, and Triveni Sangamam. Overnight Stay at Kanyakumari.
KANYAKUMARI-KOVALAM, after a refreshing breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kovalam. Up on arrival, check in to a hotel. This beach town ranked high among international tourists is an ideal destination to feel the tropical sun and to feel contented about the golden suntan. Water enthusiasts have a lot of beach activities to indulge in like - kayaking, swimming, surfing and skiing. Occasionally walk into some of the certified massaging centers alongside the beach and pamper yourself with an exotic herbal, body- toning massage. Overnight to be spent at hotel.
KOVALAM-TRIVANDRUM-KOVALAM, Morning set out on a sightseeing tour to Trivandrum. Your itinerary will include places of interests like Padmanabhaswami temple, renowned for its towering gopuras and temples arts and paintings. The main pavilion of the temple stands impressive with 400 marvelously granite carved pillars. Your guided sightseeing tour will cover the rest of the attractions too. Later in the evening travel back to Kovalam for an overnight stay.
KOVALAM-COCHIN/ TRIVANDRUM, as a sad day the tour comes to an end. Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel. Later we transfer you to Cochin/ Trivandrum Airport or Railway station to proceed for yours onwards journey or way back home with sweet memories.
