COCHIN-ALLEPPEY, Our customer care representative will receive you on arrival at Cochin Airport/ Railway station and drive to Alleppey, set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats (64 Km – 2 Hrs drive). Check-in to the House Boat. Later proceeds for a Cruise through the Back waters. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Lunch, Dinner and overnight stay in the House boat.
ALLEPPEY-KANYAKUMARI, after breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is located at the southernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent at the confluence of three major water bodies videlicet the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean. A small temple dedicated to goddess Kanyakumari - the youthful form of the primeval energy Shakti (Mother Goddess), is located on the seashore. Swami Vivekananda, the great visionary and spiritual leader, spent days in deep meditation on a rock around 400 m off the Kanyakumari coastline. There is a memorial built on the stone in honor of Swami Vivekananda and adjacent to it stands the 133 ft high statue of Tiruvalluvar, the author of the philosophical work Tirukkural. Visit the Padmanbhapuram Palace, Suchithram Temple, Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Memorial, and Triveni Sangamam. Overnight Stay at Kanyakumari.
KANYAKUMARI-KOVALAM, after a refreshing breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kovalam. Up on arrival, check in to a hotel. This beach town ranked high among international tourists is an ideal destination to feel the tropical sun and to feel contented about the golden suntan. Water enthusiasts have a lot of beach activities to indulge in like - kayaking, swimming, surfing and skiing. Occasionally walk into some of the certified massaging centers alongside the beach and pamper yourself with an exotic herbal, body- toning massage. Overnight to be spent at hotel.
KOVALAM-TRIVANDRUM-KOVALAM, Morning set out on a sightseeing tour to Trivandrum. Your itinerary will include places of interests like Padmanabhaswami temple, renowned for its towering gopuras and temples arts and paintings. The main pavilion of the temple stands impressive with 400 marvelously granite carved pillars. Your guided sightseeing tour will cover the rest of the attractions too. Later in the evening travel back to Kovalam for an overnight stay.
KOVALAM-KUMARAKOM, After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom (140 Kms and 5 Hrs drive).A place fully with green paddy fields and its one among the best places of backwaters in south India. On arrival check into hotel afternoon, enjoy the sightseeing of Bird Sanctuary. Rest day free, enjoy natural surrounding and overnight at hotel.
KUMARAKOM-COCHIN, after an early morning breakfast, checkout of the hotel. Transfer to Cochin. On arrival check in to hotel & Spend the afternoon with local sightseeing in and around Cochin - the "Queen of Arabian Sea", this is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay is arranged in Cochin.
COCHIN, as a sad day the tour comes to an end. Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel. Later we transfer you to Cochin Airport/ Railway station to proceed for yours onwards journey or way back home with sweet memories.
